The annual Assessment for accreditation and membership to Classic Homes is conducted at the applying independently owned care home and takes from 3 hours - 5 hours to complete, depending on the size of home. The care home is assessed to set criteria as interpreted by our trained assessors, and will broadly cover:

• Care and Facilities
• Comfort and Surroundings
• Food and Services
• Quality of life, Hospitality and Social Well Being
• Staff Training and Professional Development
• Assessment of "10 Principles of Service".

A fully documented bound report will be forwarded to the applying care home owner within 2 weeks of the assessment, with recommendations as appropriate and an invitation (or not) to receive an accreditation and membership to Classic Homes.
